I think for me it would depend on how much JKW there was, and whether it was an isolated clump or whether it was spreading in from neighbouring properties where it was not being dealt with.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
I'd agree with @glasgowdan. Unless there's acres of it, and you really can't get it under control, it's not the end of the world as it can be dealt with successfully. If it wasn't there a few years ago, the best solution is to see if you can find where it originates, and tackle it that way - if possible. My ex hubby had some at his current property, coming in from nearby woodland and scrubby ground which was council maintained. A couple of calls, blokes came out and it was dealt with. It hasn't reappeared either.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
It's on woodland behind our house, it's not on our property but its within 7 metres of the house. For surveying and the mortgage etc it seems to be making things slightly difficult. It does only look like its only in that patch amongst all the other plants, which is annoying as its directly behind ourhouse.

Lenders are always a pain about these things, so you have my sympathy.
