@Lesleya-z .. sounds like a great idea to me, but I would say that... at least they left you hydrangeas and camellias... all very nice to have... which reminds me, as you have a small garden, if you are ever wanting another Camellia, let me recommend you this one... it's Camellia 'Spring Festival'... it's suitable because of its very slim outline, widening with age, but it's easy to fit in.. vigorous and quick growing... and best of all I think is the mahogany spring foliage which follows the flowers...

Cambridgerose12 I’ve included a photo earlier in the thread. It doesn’t get glaring, bright sun, nor is it dark. Have a look at the photo and see what you think. It will get brighter as I’ll be cutting back the Choisya and getting rid of the cotoneaster (cotoneaster must be the ugliest plants ever)
