@Lesleya-z .. sounds like a great idea to me, but I would say that...   at least they left you hydrangeas and camellias... all very nice to have... which reminds me, as you have a small garden, if you are ever wanting another Camellia, let me recommend you this one... it's Camellia 'Spring Festival'...  it's suitable because of its very slim outline, widening with age, but it's easy to fit in.. vigorous and quick growing... and best of all I think is the mahogany spring foliage which follows the flowers...

...best of luck !   do let us know about your roses later on...

Oh that is so pretty! I think that’s the prettiest camellia I’ve seen!

2 roses I’m getting are Jasmina and Secret Parfuma, both Kordes roses.

yes, will certainly be sending in photos 🙂

    really appreciate your help x
  • When you say 'lightly shaded', how shaded is it? Does it get any hours of sun per day?

Cambridgerose12 I’ve included a photo earlier in the thread. It doesn’t get glaring, bright sun, nor is it dark. Have a look at the photo and see what you think. It will get brighter as I’ll be cutting back the Choisya and getting rid of the cotoneaster (cotoneaster must be the ugliest plants ever)
