ID please - penstemon or fuchsia type flower

    They send out runners or suckers. I'm not sure what they're called. Anyway,keep an eye on them as they can travel a good six ft. I have the greeny cream one but got rid of the red and yellow one because it became a bit of a thug.

    Sorry to bring up this old thread. How did you get rid of it?

    There is thug spreading in my garden and i want to remove it. I may keep some in large pot, but want it go from border.

    Didn’t get rid of it - in fact he is propagating more 😀

    I dug it out and pulled up the runners. Anything inaccessible, I just kept snipping off shoots until it gave up.

    Thank you. It has pretty flowers but i i do have enough space for it. Same for a snowberry bush.

    If you keep an eye on it, you can keep it under control. Keep it pruned and watch out for the runners. It took a few years of neglect for mine to become a thug😊
