ID please - penstemon or fuchsia type flower



Anyone got any idea what this is?  I thought fuchsia, others thought penstemon, but not like any I have seen before.

it takes easily from cuttings

    Phygellius. Devil's tears. It can be invasive if it's comfortable.
    In London. Keen but lazy.

    I would say they look more like Cape Fuchsia, Phygelius.

    It looks as if it is Phygelius "Devils Teas" @chicky. I have Phygelius in the garden but not the same one. I have to say I love the colour of yours. It can be quite invasive down here so a good plant to give divisions away to friends and family.
