How does your carrots grow

My carrots look terrific this year. They are big and tasty. Summer was extremely hot and it was only three rainy days till september, but carrots survived. Last year result was poor. This was first carrots dug at august. Yesterday's harvest,and I have a lot more to dig up.

With carrot fly apparently Hit and miss. Maybe they will fare better next year.
