How does your carrots grow

My carrots look terrific this year. They are big and tasty. Summer was extremely hot and it was only three rainy days till september, but carrots survived. Last year result was poor.

This was first carrots dug at august.



Yesterday's harvest,and I have a lot more to dig up.

    Absolutely brilliant Ante. I love the uniform shape. Your soil must be very good and free from stones. Do you ever get any funny shaped carrots?

    No funny shaped carrots this year. My potatoes are completely different story😆

    Do you get any root fly problems with a crop that large?

    I only grew a couple of tubs of the small, round salad carrots this year but they were so tasty that I wish I'd grown more. I once grew this amorous pair though. I felt bad digging them up mid triste :#

    @wild edges for now no root fly problems. I sowed carrot pretty late and onions was nearby so maybe that helped.

    That's a great haul @Ante30. I didn't grow any this year. I usually grow in pots. I'd need the whole garden turned over into a veg patch for the amount of carrots we eat  ;)
    I blushed after that pic @wild edges. They should have got a room...
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    I found yesterday first weird shaped carrot this year. And it's a pretty rude carrot indeed😂.
