Looks good @andy.hansen88. Hope it performs a lot better for you now  :)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
  • The cooler weather ought to help it root...good luck with it and keep it well watered

  • I will do. Shall I water it everyday for the next couple of weeks? Obviously not the days that it rains which doesn't seem that often at the moment down in the South East!

Give it a good soaking rather than lots of little sprinklings. If you have one of those automated sprinkler doo dahs, leave it on an area for half an hour, then move it round the whole area. That will keep it right for a few days. Then repeat until you get regular rainfall, which should be in anothe rmonth or so.
Or send it up here - we have enough rain to spare for everyone  ;)

  • Hi All,

Grass seems to be taking well apart from one small corner. It's been 2 and a bit weeks. When can I give it a cut?

Two weeks doesn't seem very long, but the simple answer is you can cut it when it's firmly rooted into the ground and growing strongly.  give it a little tug in a few places and if it doesn't lift at all, it's probably OK to cut.  Don't go too short though, put the mower on a high setting.
Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Soil type: sandy, well-drained
  • Thanks Jenny. Still feels a little loose in places so will leave it a bit longer and then cut on the highest setting like you mentioned.
