Psithurism and his friend petrichor visit here frequently.
Morning folks. I managed to get another couple of hours sleep. Had an email from the council to say that they hoped a topographical survey would start this week with drillings for samples for geotechnical testing and that water monitoring wells would be put in the boreholes and checked every two weeks for two or three months. The landslip looks like being there for some time.
Pansy, I hope your neighbour's cat has found a cosy place to have her kittens.
Morning , Pansy I hope your neighbours cat has found a cosy warm place to give birth . Joyce , you will need a nap this afternoon .Ante I hope today goes well at school.LB sorry you had a disturbed night , put your feet up .
PF - I just hope that pussy cat is at least sheltered and that she and her kittens are safe. Please keep us up to date if you hear anything.
Joyce - its going to be quite interesting roundabout yours but it would have to be around that coming up season. When I was in 'sco yesterday on my way home I was prepared by someone who had mentioned the fact on here last week, but it still made me shudder to see the stack of C*******s stuff - and they had the cheek to put the aisle heading up of 'Seasonal'.
Sorry but have I slept through
and
?
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
Ante have a good day at school. Joyce it's good you've had a couple of hours after being up so early. I too have got into the habit of being awake. Pansy very much hope neighbours cat finds somewhere suitable to give birth, poor thing, hope it's somewhere dry. A cooler day today wearing socks to keep toes warm. Pottering today.
Morning M-U; Rebecca and Hazel. Can someone please answer me this? How on earth do you lose ONE sock after taking them off last night and putting them in the wash basket. I have hunted high and low with an increasing puzzlement. Lily has been given some stern looks. I don't know if I told you but on Saturday I found two pegs in my garden - on the path near the gh. Neither of them are mine. It was the colours that caught my eye as I have no pegs the colours of these two. Lily got another Paddington Bear stare. She was VERY happy last night to hear that One Man and His Dog is going to be starting again soon.

PF - that could actually be the explanation. I have had a magpie nest this year in one of my trees at the bottom of the garden and the magpies are always around scaring the little birds away. Love the sound of an orange cauliflower

I can now hear myself think. Chainsaw has been going most of the morning clearing paths through the undergrowth to make way for the drills.....that'll be yet more noise. The poor birds will have taken refuge.
