Hello there everyone. We were fairly mediocre at the quiz last night - coming about 16th - but had a fun time catching up with everyone's news. The last working member of our team is on her countdown to retiring at the end of this academic year so she was in a particularly happy mood - still a long way to go but she is looking forward to finally saying 'goodbye' to the chalk face, or should I say 'interactive white board' face.
T'Bird - shock horror indeed! NO Black Forest gateau. Well, what can one say?
I, too, remember Herb Alpert (and his Tijuana Brass) and Nana Mouskouri ('til the white rose blooms again).
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
MorningLB ,Pansy and Chive and all to come . Horrid morning here ,very windy, raining and cold. Good that you enjoyed your evening out LB . I do hope that you haven’t been bitten Pansy .Chive have a good day . I hope that your mum is benefiting from her physio.
Afties all. I feel like I'm taking two steps forward then three steps back. Friend from Crewe left a couple of hours ago and I've been aimlessly doing random banned stuff that would bring out Col TT immediately.
Chive I'm hoping that the physio is really helping your Mum's shoulder and Joyce, I'm hoping that they don't keep you waiting too much longer.
The wind is blowing a hooley here but at least the rain has ceased.

Very wet and windy night but the sun is out now.
Pansy, I would have had to go somewhere else to get away from the mosquito whine. Hope the spider had it for breakfast.
LB, I just missed out on the interactive white boards. I don't think I would have got on very well with them.
Chive, I am still waiting for my physio appointment. Glad that it's helping your mum.
First day of college last night. It was AMAZING and I'm really excited for the rest of the course!
I know it wasn't great for you LB but you did make me laugh trying to identify just what kind of tomatoes you'd been sent!
I just missed the bus back from the town and had to wait nearly half an hour at a very windy bus stop. Having a warming cuppa.
Are your brother and niece staying with you LB?
