Yeh - he said yesterday that 'ooh Gary Davies' was sitting in today. Hope it's just today.
It's painful hearing him - when you consider how long he's been doing it, you'd think he would have the hang of it by now... :D

I just looked - think it's just today.
Phew. Maybe I'll sleep better tonight then.... ;)

I was surprised when l heard him (Gary Davies). We both thought he was a new presenter who was understandably nervous by the way he was gabbling , very surprised when we found out who he was. He didn't seem to calm down as the week progressed,  which l would have expected.

Last time Gary Davies sat in for Ken, OH and l started counting how many times he said "Cool" during Popmaster. Distracted me from the questions a bit, as l was waiting for the next "Cool".....😁
If you think THAT'S  distracting: count how often Zoe Ball says "amazing" . Sometimes twice in the same sentence.

OH and I were saying just the other day that when Mr Bruce decides he’s had enough the only current DJ who could sit in his chair would be Sara Cox.

Oh! I get it you're talking about wireless programmes. The Chelsea thing confused me. I thought you were talking about football, flower shows or pensioners😕 I'm ridiculously susceptible to earworms which last for days so I don't listen to the radio much.

Hope not, I LOVE her on at 5. If she took over from Ken, I'd never get off my backside to do anything . lol

But dont you agree she is so good at creating a relationship with the listener ... plus she gets real respect from musicians etc. Just like Mr Bruce.

I don't like her very much, but I think she'd be wrong at that time of day anyway. Could be worse - it could be Jo Whiley  :#

It's ok @Hostafan1- I'll find a very long stick to poke you with and get you going of a morning.... ;)

At this time of year I find 5pm a good time to stop and she makes me laugh out loud , so a perfect way to end the working day , then at 7 I dump in the bath
