Is it really advertising when it was the OP that requested the information in the first place? Does it really matter that the information came directly from the artist in question? Any of us could have given exactly the same information. I just see it as an oversight of the forum's T&C's and no harm done.

On his site, "artist nellie hearn" says "[...] I was soon surprised by
my hidden talents and I’m convinced that my dance background
must have had some hidden influence on my artist talents."
When an artist congratulates himself on his talent, you can only believe them, don't you agree?

The information had already been given ... its for the Mods to decide once they’re aware.

I always try to take new posters at face value @Hexagon, but @Ladybird had given them the info, so there was no need for anything to be added. I'm not yet that cynical to think the OP was the artist themselves - but give it time It's the fact that this thread has been resurrected by 'supposedly' the artist themselves, that's the problem. He coul dhave PMd the OP for example. Adverts have to be paid for, as per the terms of the site, so it's best to report anything a bit odd, and let the mods decide.
I think that the OP is a fake person created by the artist themselves in order to try and generate some income from this website. If the question had been asked by a long established poster it might be more genuine but even then they might have been a friend of the artist putting up a fake post. Not as easy to see through.
The original post was over a month ago and I can't see where you would get the idea they were fake!

I suppose he wants to sell them whilst people remember vaguely who he is.
