    Isn't it lovely when that first fruit appears @Newby40 Hubby and I waited until we thought it was ripe and then cut it and shared it, all the sweeter for knowing you had grown it. That will make a nice individual pie or maybe apple sauce? 🙂

    Newby40, you need 2 more trees from the same group as the Bramley so that all three trees flower at the same time if you want fruit. Also, your tree looks quite young so don't let it bear too many apples whilst small. Incidentally,  Bramleys are sometimes alternate year fruiters so have fruit one year and almost nothing the next. Despite all though, they're lovely apples.
