Good morning everyone - just been out to touch up a few areas on the oil tanks and now it's started raining🤬. That wasn't in the forecast🤨. Never mind - garden needs it. Do't think OH does though - he's out on a long cycle ride with his club (about 70 miles) and it's also grey, windy and cold - rather him than me.

Lots of indoor jobs to do - cooking, paperwork, holiday list making - so I'll crack on with those.

Have a good week MU. Sounds like you're nearly back working full-time!

Hello @Fairygirl 👋. Have you managed to get out into the hills much this first summer of retirement?

SGL - have a lovely day with the wee ones. You've been through the wringer this year - no wonder you have periods when you're feeling less than chipper. Look after yourself. Is OH still making steady progress? It's a long old haul isn't it?

    Afternoon all.
@Fairygirl I spotted the spammer first thing as he/she posted on the Identifying thread by Poppie just after I posted and I flagged the post then. They can be a real pain. By the way @Fairygirl you are not bothering anyone, its nice to see you
M-U I hope that your visitors are less stressful than PF's were.
Lants - my crocosmia haven't been blighted. When I was driving back from the rellies I was about 4 miles from home and I drove into a rain storm then as quickly as I drove into it, it went. I think it was a Pink Panther rain cloud. Hope that you got Tiggs out before the rain at your end of the UK.
Chive - you mean there is some cheesecake left? Yes please
SGL - sorry you are feeling a bit down. Are you coming out with post natal depression in sympathy. Cheer up Chuck. You come on here and offload as much as you want.

PF - that story! Unbelievable. Disused power station so how the Hanover did it still send electricity to all those homes. Someone made a boo boo there.

Lily I hope the family raise your spirits and you feel a little lifted.  Pansy Didcot homes without power to such a degree.  Let's hope they have their power back soon.  Chive can i have a slice, looks lovely.  Very sunny at the moment but blustery too.

Chive, do you have an evil streak?  That cheesecake looks scrumptious.

What's going on with power cuts?  It's not winter yet.

Sky is very dark so it looks as though there will be a few downpours.  The wind up at uncle's would have blown the washing off the line.
