Morning Ante. I hope that you get another chance to see the end of the film - they seem to show it every other week here on cable TV. I hope that the Italians behave themselves and that you have a good tour.
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
LB I watched jaws many years ago but it has you on the edge of your seat at times. All these so called happening people going to these c**p concerts Pansy, could be better. I went to a few when I was younger, ears ringing afterwards and needing a shower. Ante enjoy your time with the Italians. Topbird just have a quick cash to sm if you can. Chive I drink chamomile tea at times it's quite refreshing. Joyce it's dry here after a wet evening and blustery today.
Morning - guess we had a spammer on here earlier? Either that or Pansy and MU have gone cuckoo.
We're painting the oil tanks today. A fiddly, messy and unpleasant job because they're in a confined space behind the garage and it's really hard to get to the back of them. Fortunately I have a radiator roller but there are still bits we can't reach and we both end up covered in paint.
Had some good rain yesterday - much needed. Horrid item on local news last night about the rescue of thousands of fishes from parts of the river Stour which have completely dried up. All the fish have gathered in small pools where they quickly exhaust the oxygen supplies.
Pictures of people cycling along the dry river bed which should be about a metre deep at this time of year. This stretch is often under some stress in the summer and they usually divert water from the river Ouse to keep it topped up - but this year the Ouse is also dangerously low so that's not an option. Makes my garden problems seem small. Fingers crossed for a wet autumn and winter.
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
I have a sack barrow - its extremely useful. In now for the Rugby but I'm a bit peckish too so I'll have to get myself organised.
T'Bird, that is such sad news about the poor fish struggling. As M-U said, thousands have been rehomed from the Toddbrook reservoir at Whaley Bridge. I keep my fingers crossed every day that you get much needed rain - but not now until the paint dries on your oil tanks. Runners, every year we drive to the Lake District we go on scary roads praying we don't meet any large farm vehicles and breathing in to make the car thin but at least we drive in daylight hours. I think I would flatly refuse to drive at night. Did I miss a spammer????

It's dry but quite blustery which should help dry the garden up a bit.
LB and Chive, hope you manage to get your planting done.
Ante, hope you wont be too tired after the tour with the Italians.
Pansy, have you seen any suitable houses yet?

Nothing personal M-U!
T'bird, hope you get sufficient rain over the next few months and it remembers to stop
