So pleased with my plug plant wild flower area.

Sowing wild flower seed is one thing - I have done that with reasonable results, but am so much happier with my home grown plug plant area even though it took a little more thought, effort and planning.  There are also teasles, foxgloves, self heal, ragged robin, knapweed, scabious and other bee friendly plants dotted around .   It is buzzing with bees and almost all the plants are perennials or biannual, so they SHOULD look just as good next year - here's hoping.

    Thank you - I am pleased with the looks too and the amount of activity with bees, butterflies, etc. I am interested to see just how it looks this time next year - most of these plants are long term, so hopefully with very little effort (apart from cutting when the flowers are well and truly over, raking and finding somewhere to put the dead growth) this project will pay us back in time saved over the year.

    I absolutely love it @Guernsey Donkey2 - I’d be happy to have my whole garden like that.
