Mine have been flowering for ages, one of the first to come out in the spring and still going.

Where do I cut down to when deadheading Lupins? Should I cut at the base of the flower or take it right down to the bottom of the stem?

I cut down to the first decent sized leaf below the seedhead as sometimes this stimulates some more (smaller) flower heads.

Ok thanks for your help. I'll give it a go soon as mine are starting to look a bit shabby.
