HELP! My lupin seems to be dying!

Can someone help me with my lupins please. Its their first season and started really well. As the plant has got bigger its dropped over and there seems to be white furry stuff at the bottom of the plant and it looks like it's dying :(

Well that is what lupins do - they grow, they flower and then they set seed - which is the furry bits you are seeing. If you cut the flower spike off right at the base you may get a second flush. But otherwise, that's it until this time next year.

I think i see other flower spikes in the first photo. Cut this flower spike off and they might flower also.

Lupins don't have a long flowering season - a few weeks at the most.

Except one of mine that was still blooming at Christmas!

It may have still been blooming @Lyn ... but surely it wasn’t the same flower spike?

Oh no, just kept blooming, not the same spike, as @philippa smith2 could confirm.
