Also any plants that are grown in pots should have feet underneath them. So that the air can circulate, and also if you get any heavy rain it comes out of the bottom of the pot and does not stay in the pot over watering the plant, shrub etc. I grow a lot of  plants in pots, due to a bad back and the earth is to hard for me to dig. I put my pots of feet also.

If it were mine, l would trim back the branches to the greener bits.
Lift the pot up on feet as Jacqueline says. Keep a very close eye on the watering, make sure it doesn't get too soggy or too dry (not always easy l know).
If it shows signs of recovery,  it may be worth looking to see if you can plant it in the ground somewhere else in the garden.
If it doesn't make it, then so be it, you have a very nice pot to reuse.  :)

Did you feed it? That pot is a little small and the nutrients would have been taken up after a while - I'm assuming that last picture is an old picture.
I would get a bigger pot and lightly feed it when needed, every 4-6 month.
But that original pic looks a lot sad, here's hoping and crossing fingers but hope is low, sorry.
I did feed it around Christmas time With some Miracle gro all purpose Continuous all year round food, which I've still got lots of.Ive also got some fish bone & blood not that I know what to do with it.

I'll look into getting some feet.

We put them in pots due to the drainage being terrible in our garden heavy clay,we installed drainage pipes last year to help.

Also I'm not sure we have the space to plant it.

I know what you mean about clay soil Dave ! I also see what you mean about having the space.
First things first, let's see if it recovers 🤞

Happy to say that it looks like the Red Robin is ok,after loosing its leaves it looks like its growing again.

I added a little plant food into the compost and have put plant feet under the pot to help it air underneath
