My strawberries are in a fruit cage.

And some have been have holes in them.

I think I may have caught one in the act?

How should I deal with it.

Also I planted out 25 runners last year well established now but now flowers should I expect a crop this year

Looks like a slug but I could be wrong, someone will come along on here who can tell you.

It looks like a slug to me too. I snip them in half with scissors quick and totally organic😉
    In London. Keen but lazy.

The first one is a slug
... he started eating the strawberry, ate his fill and moved on ... however he had punctured the skin of the fruit and that enabled the Woodlouse to suck some of the juice from the remains of the soft inside flesh.

The spider is innocent and I’ve no idea what the other creature is.

Second one is Woodlice. I had these eating my strawberries so I now grow them in tubs well of the ground or hanging baskets. The third one is a spider they eat things like aphids and classed as good guys.

Should have said the spider is a good guy not the aphids.

third pic as said is a spider. 4th pic is a squished spider.

Well we can’t blame him or her then ... squished spiders are unlikely to steal strawberries 🕷 🍓

the spider is a woodlouse spider I think, so you hes probably already dealing with your problem!
(oh and they can bite btw, so probably best not have him on your hand too much!)

I hate woodlice. Eat my strawberries and apples. This year I am going to kill them all

Ok I think I have good the slugs under control after picking off 80+ over 2 days.

A few have this tunnel in them. What is it.
