@Picidae. Thank you for sharing your visit to the Chatsworth show with us, I have enjoyed seeing it very much 😀. Thanks also for taking the time to post them in a way that is accessible to all. It's very kind and thoughtful if you to do this 👍.
I have been reading a blog by a gardening journalist who visited Chatsworth. The number of big show gardens has gone down from 8, to 5 and now 3 this year. Must admit l prefer the smaller gardens, they are easier to relate to and pick up ideas from, l think. @Picidae, just wondering if they had the Floral bridge again? It was a lovely idea but led to bottlenecks the first year as so many people slowed to admire it and take photos. @WillDB, l noticed they mentioned on GW that dogs were welcome, l didn't think the ones they showed looked very happy though - as in "Why didn't they leave me at home in a nice warm house in a comfy basket ?"
I think generally they prefer being out and about with "the pack" even if they don't look like it at every moment (bit like kids I suppose!)
There's always a plant I see that I want, persuade myself I don't need, then regret not buying; this time it was Zanthoxylum piperata. Saw a very striking specimen in the floral marquee. Even mum noticed it, and she's definitely more of a colourful flowers type of person.
"What is hateful to you, do not do to your neighbour".

I know what you mean Lizzie, hopefully the programme on tomorrow night will have a bit more detail.
