Wondered if anyone is going this year ? Went to the first one 2 years ago which was rather a soggy affair. Would be interested in any feedback/photos  :)

I was slightly disappointed in the show this year compared to last year. The big marquee full of nursery exhibitors was excellent but this year there was no tent full of fabulous orchids. This year seemed slightly busier than last.

I love the shops - interesting, often unusual products and I bought several things which I don’t need but I coveted them!  The show gardens were good-ish but I did not come away bubbling with ideas of things to duplicate.

What couldn’t be helped was the weather. It was on the chilly side of mild but at least it stayed dry. Excellent pathways meant it was easy to get around the site and even when crossing grassy areas muddy patches were rare despite yesterday’s rain. Car parking was very well marshalled.

There was a good choice of food options. We had toasted sandwiches and two drinks and the bill came to £14. That’s not exorbitant for a captive audience at a festival type event.

I took lots of photos and over the next few posts I’ll deliver them in batches of three so as to help, I hope, people who cannot easily download pictures.

Thanks for posting these and the feedback @Picidae. Looking at the way everyone is wrapped up, you'd never think it was June !

Fascinating pics ... I wonder if @punkdoc and Moira are in any of them 😉
