If a fish pie has a bread crumb topping why isn't it a fish crumble?

    Crumble has sugar in it

but pie has pastry (or mash potato if you really want to stretch the definition).

Not a legal obligation, according to (basket) case law Pollock v Plum, 1873. The judge ruled in favour of Mr Pollock omitting sugar in the case of a savory crumble, but was overheard later as saying ‘on his own head be it’.

Pollock isn't bad in a fish crumble actually but it has to be fresh.

Heard about the eccentric millionaire who bequeathed his collection of modern art to his dog?

Those paintings really are the dog's Pollocks.

I hate it when you get a parcel from abroad now and it just comes with a sterile barcoded shipping label. Whatever happened to stamps? :/ Even Royal Mail don't use them anymore.
