@Dovefromabove thanks for asking, it’s less swollen today and less lumpy. Still red and itchy though. My better half finished the bramble shredding this morning and only reported a couple of bumps and slight itchiness. I watched at a distance! I then covered up completely and applied roundup to main stumps, but even the slight gap between my top sleeves and gloves resulted in hives! Nuts 🥴 but thanks again for asking 😁
I thought of you earlier as I was pulling out all the forgetmenots that have gone over. Of course I had bare arms so all the little hairs on the leaves have made my skin tingle a little bit ... but it happens every year and isn’t very bad.
The only thing I’ve ever had a bad reaction to was euphorbia sap when I was a child ... it burnt in the sunshine and I was very sore for several days ... I remember it well even tho it was a very long time ago now. You’ve obviously got sensitive skin so definitely watch out for that one 😱
Hope it clears up properly soon 😊

Hi Dave. I am in no way medically qualified to speak so just speaking from experience. You need to get some allergy testing done at your GP practice. It's rather a boring process and they have to do it bit by bit, process of elimination. Worth doing. Looks like you're on the mend tho.

Keep taking the anti-histamine.

@fire @Obelixx yes, using Roundup gel ‘extra strong’ for use on stumps. I guess however a systemic is absorbed it will work down to the roots?
