Recommendations for what to plant

So I've got a decent sized pot that's about to become available and would prefer to put some kind of fruit or veg in there. Any recommendations on what to plant? The pot is 13 inch diameter and 10 inches deep. Bought originally to have a go at growing potatoes in. Any ideas (not potatoes)?
