Stunning garden, B. I am aware of taking very tight shots of my garden because it's small and lots of ugly bits about (like plastic windows). Composition is everything.
Self sown hybrids, I’m afraid. I’ll happily send you seeds or small, young plants though, as we know, there is no guarantee the child will be like the parent. PM me if interested.
Thanks @Fire. I had to check to make sure you were talking about my garden😊 @Picidae that's exactly what I meant but fire's right. That's a beautiful part of your garden and a fine fence😉
That's the way it is with normal gardens isn't it? Some bits please you, some bits don't but who's going to dwell on the rough bits, not me. Anyway, things keep changing.
Tweaked images in magazines and social media are lovely to look at, but not reality. I love to look at the tweaked garden pictures. The gardens are something to aspire to, but seeing the reality is a bit of a confidence -booster. (Sorry about the grammar there if any pedants are twitching😉)
@B3 depends what you call "tweaked" and "reality".
Just decided to enter this discussion's competition, but had a hard time finding a messy corner of my garden. Usually there is nothing that needs putting away before I take photos. OK, this is the not so photogenic corner of it, then, with the yellow hose and plastic watering cans. I sometimes feel like getting rid of that hose and buying a grey-colour one, but maybe that would be an extravagant expense.

If I want a bit of fun, it goes in the potting shed.
But could have posted this
