Help with ID please

I was sold this online as Tiarella wherryi. It clearly isn't. Can someone please enlighten me?

    That strongly resembles Himalayan Balsam ; if so either get rid or plant where it can be seriously controlled .

    If it is Himalayan Balsam just get rid of it - it can't be controlled as it chucks its seeds a country mile.

    Very true DGM ; explosive seed capsules resulting in large tracts of riversides being overwhelmed by it .

    Not to mention most of the street where we used to live just cos one chap brought some seeds home from a walk and planted them in his garden and let them run wild 😦 

    Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

    Couch Grass .........not the five best plants to have in your garden ! ;)

    Was it sold to you in that blue container or did you re-plant it there? What did the plant look like when you received it? Did you take a photo?

    I did the same except the seeds must have travelled home on the soles on my boots. I'd bought some mulch from the garden centre and walked the dog along the river on the way home. This lovely flower appeared where I'd spread the mulch and I was very pleased until I found out what it is and destroyed it before the seeds ripened.
    If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

    Some progess. Spoke to the nurseryman, and I'm convinced it's not Himalayan Balsam, but he now thinks it's Astilbe, which I doubt. He has replaced it with the Tiarella I asked for. I'll keep it to see what its flowers look like.
    PS Yes, it came in that pot.
