    Anthemis punctata aka Sicilian chamomile.  A little plant that gives a lot in return for sunshine and little else.  Attractive, faintly aromatic foliage all year round, and in April/May loads of daisy flowers about the size of 50p coin.  Very easily propagated from cuttings, I can send you a few.

    I put a variety of small plants into the paving slabs a few days ago and every single one was removed by the many magpies around the garden!!!!!!
    Josusa thank you so much for the offer of the cuttings but at the moment I am thinking I might trying sowing seed in a sand and compost mixture instead - unless anyone has another solution.

    I'd just mention not to use builders sand as it can contain toxins.
    Sharp sand is your best bet
