Is this Hydrangea dead or alive?

Is there any hope for this Hydrangea? It’s been like this for 6 weeks now and doesn’t seem to be growing😕

I agree, if it hasn't grown for 6 weeks it's probably on the way out, sadly.

Oh no! Any tips on how to revive it or is it too late?

😢 such a shame. We moved house and then had a baby so it was neglected for a while. It’s a beautiful lace cap one. Looked amazing last year!

You could try feeding it maybe with a general purpose fertilizer, fork it in lightly. Keep it well watered but don't drown it. It may respond to some TLC. Got to be worth a try as you love it so much  :)

Ok, thank you, I’ll try that!
    Fingers crossed it survives!

I’d say it’s dead, time to go I’m afraid.

Oh no really? My husband has said to keep it and see what happens!

It had to be as it was mostly dead. So it was ‘hard pruned’.
