Hi dannyandshaz, I have been running in and out from showers of hail, third one just turned to rain. I don't mind if it not heavy rain or hail I can just work on but the hail I can't do it's painful. It's stopped and the sun is out so on with my boots until the next lot starts.

I don't have a greenhouse at the moment but will later in the year so make do with my plastic one for now. I'll have space for a 6 ft x 10 ft green house which will make thinks a lot easier. I'll remember about the guttering and will give it a try next year sound as it it's easier that in modulus.

    Enjoy your gardening.

  • Lyn,
For the amount of time you spend on this forum i would have thought you'd have learnt how to welcome a new member (as you put it) but having read your past offerings i can see your one of these people that isnt interested in helping or offering garden advice over your putting the world right,
If you find what i do and how i do is not to your liking ???
then just dont read what i have to say,
I wont give a hoot (to put it in a very mild way) And im sure you know how to use the OFF switch on your pc???

@dannyandshaz ... your posts are confused and hard to follow because as has been said above your posts are following on from the quote in the quote box.

If you ensure that your cursor is on the white area below below the quote your post will appear as distinct and separate from the quote and we’ll all be able to read what you’re saying without having to read and re-read through the quotes to find where they end and your post begins.

I hope hope that helps ... there’s no need to be unpleasant to Lyn ... she’s one of the most experienced and helpful folk on here.

  • If this woman is so helpful why was it on my first 10 mins on this forum she came out with such a nasty remark ref the make of mower i have?
Even on of the older members jumped in and told i was not advertising any make
Are you telling me this is how you are helpful to people?

Really Dove from above? Put the shoe on the other foot and ask yourself how you'd feel if you we're greeted this way.

Thank god she no idea the car i drive that would really upset her.

I have always found Lyn to be very helpful she was probably just concerned as sometimes people use the forum to advertise. It was an extremely detailed description of a lawn mower a bit different to the usual posts on here. Just s misunderstanding I am sure the problem with written posts is they are easily misunderstood as there is no nuance or tone is there?
