Another ident please

    Hi I recognised picture 2 with the variegated leaves as Phalaris, the last pic is a Bamboo of some sort .
    the leaves are stripy like Phalaris but the stems are not

    Hi all, it is indeed all the same plant - it's in a garden we have started to look after - we just know with grasses they come into cut back or pull out dead stems with hands - can't work out what we are really meant to be doing with it.  The client doesn't want it removed - we just wanted to look after it in the correct way.  

    Will have a pop to local garden centre and look at both of your suggestions

    Also don't remember any seed heads on it if that helps
