    🤣
i don’t have a potting shed ... I try to keep my store shed tidy but that’s coz I respect myself and it’s a waste of my time to have to pull everything out muttering curses under my breath in order to find something I know is in there ...

I respect my whole garden and the wildlife in it ... but that doesn’t mean it’s tidy 😉

I'm so envious @Jellyfire all that spare space in your shed you can even see the floor  :D

I’m just jealous of anyone with space for a dedicated potting space.... if it can’t be shoved into my storage box it can’t stay..... the perils of loving gardening but only having a terrace..... everything here is multi purpose and rarely overly tidy!

If the if the weather’s good pricking our and potting on happens on the table on the terrace ... if it’s not good an old blanket and a sheet of plastic is put on the dining table and it happens there 🤭😀

Each to their own, Oldcompost did say in the greenhouse I can understand the logic in keeping it clean, perhaps they allow bugs and beasties to play in the garden.

I let ants alone outside mostly but if they enter the house it is war.
(Same for Vampires never invite them in).
So Oldcompost does not like caterpillars in their greenhouse where they raise seedlings and plants.

You may be able to put the coloured pots and tan ones in recycling if no one wants your spares.
I thought it was black plastic that could not be sorted mechanically.

I would also like/wish for a real potting up space.
@Jellyfire excellent :D We need B3 topic resurrecting.

I love a good old vampire, I would have Christopher Lee in back in the 60’s.

Hmm, good point, maybe I need to try and find that missing trowel behind the plantpots, that should sort the problem out

Thank you Rubytoo, at last some support.  We all love nature but if something destroys what I put a lot of effort into then it's war (inside the GH).  Two years ago I bought a Veg Cage because every vegetable was decimated by caterpillars (these were caught in 5 minutes).

Perhaps some slug lovers wouldn't appreciate my photo of one 'exploded'
