    At the PP nursery they also sell (very cheaply) their nodosum self-sown seedlings (as 9cm plants). They freely admit they have no idea what colour they'll actually be (probably pinky-lilac) but they're a nice way to buy lots of cheap plants for ground cover if you're not bothered about the colour. Not sure if they're available mail order though...

    The white nodosum is a lovely little plant for shade.
    Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down

    I've bought the odd plant online, but I prefer to see the plants before I buy. I don't mind if they're not in flower but I like to see if they look healthy with new shoots
    In London. Keen but lazy.
