Acer bloodgood dying back

    Sorry to hijack the thread but I was due to post another thread on my Acer (Bloodgood as well as it happens).  It’s my first Acer, planted in Autumn.  Is it normal for emerging leaves to droop like this is or stressed?

    I’m loving the colour already.  I set it amongst some vibrant blues (clematis, ceonathus and veronicastrum).  Cannot wait.
  • Yeah they are beautiful trees .especially if you underlight them they look great with the light shining through the red leaves of summer evening ,as I said gutted!!!!
