purplerallim, My one not weedy but I did cut it back at the cost of the flowers for two years. It's grown in a tub on the corner patio so open to all the elements.

Ooh so many to choose from. I bought a Margaret merril today so I don't need another rose but hey ho!
I'm seeing what's on stock and I'll let you know what I go for
  • I have Blue for You. It's a small floribunda suitable for a pot. It's lilac coloured.

Thank you @gardeningfan. That's pretty. Does it smell nice?

It does, but it's not very strongly scented.

Thank you I think I've narrowed it down to smaller roses with rich colour and scent: midnight blue, ebb tide or twilight zone.
Munstead Wood still in the running but I'd like to smell it again because I find with some of the higher petal count DA roses their fragrance doesn't travel far. I have tess and ancient mariner and they smell lush up close but the fragrance doesn't travel far.

    Hello rose lovers!

I've been agonising for ages but need to get a move on.  I've decided to either order midnight blue or royal celebration which is more magenta red by the looks of it.

Can anyone tip me one way or the other with their experiences of either rose please! X
