I have a rose in the garden called Blue Moon but it's not a true blue.

..you might also like 'Minerva'... this is strongly scented, and shorter.. but not as dark..

..my favourite purple rose is 'Gloire de Ducher'.. however, this is definitely not for a pot, nor is it really suitable for those who are new to roses... just my opinion on that..

    Ffoxglove

Twice in a Blue Moon Hybrid Tea Rose. ... But this is arose that comes close. The huge, heavily scented and classically shaped flowers are, in truth, a silver lilac but with a hint of blue as well. This is a stunning rose. Found this info on the web.
  • I have one which smells like Parma violets called blue for you. It’s a lovely rose - think a floribundas from David Austin.

I've got Blue Moon. It's very pale pinky lilac and very tall - much too big for a pot

I have that one as well. Wasn't keen on it at first but last year it was very good.

My original blue moon rose was a weedy plant, back in the eighties , hope they are better now.
