Our specsaver as fantastic equipment, they spot everything, cataracts do come on very quickly I think.
Both of my parents were detected, and later lasered.
I tried the contact lenses, the free 5 day trial, I loved them, but mine are very complicated, varifocal types, dailys.
I like specsavers, they’ve  never let any of us down in the 30 or so years we’ve used them.
When they 1st started off you could just walk in and have a test, now you have to book, but never wait more that a couple of days.
The contact lense consultant only sits on a Friday though as he comes from the hospital.

Trying to buy a used digital camera on donedeal and no one wants to post one...  wanted a new one on argos but they sold out of the one i can afford ..
Do they say why? I get annoyed with sellers on ebay who say collection only but sometimes if I ask they will agree to post. Some have said they've had problems with scammers who abuse ebay's policy of siding with the buyer and lodge complaints, get a refund and still keep the item.

Someone else found the same with plants, people are reluctant to send to EU countries now.

This makes me curmudgeonly in more ways than one. Firstly the behaviour of the council, and then the RSPB telling people to ring 999. What planet are they on ?

I suspect there's a bit of sour grapes going on there but councils do need to toe the line when it comes to wildlife protection.

I think you're right wild edges. A council's idea of working "at pace" is somewhat different from mine  :)

When my wife started working for the council her boss actually told her she needed to slow down a bit. :o

Speaking of wildlife crime this news article about cactus theft is very interesting and worth a read:
