In light of inferences in the above posts I would like to state that I have not sent any Private Messages to @Bronall

She says she has printed copies of the PMs and I request that she either provides evidence of any PM from me or confirms that I have not sent any.

I have not been ‘vitriolic’ ... I cannot find anything I have said that could possibly be objected to, and having been told she had blocked me I made one post confirming to another poster that I was not upset and then said I was leaving that thread, and made no more posts on that thread.

@Dovefromabove I thought that would be very unlike you. I myself thought it all a storm in a teacup. We all sometimes have disagreements on here but I don’t think any regular poster would descend to sending abusive private messages. That’s never been my experience on this forum. Hopefully the lady will leave a forum that clearly doesn’t suit her and things will blow over.

After reading this I read @bronall's other post, I read page 2 twice, the one she was upset about, and I couldn't find any vitriol. There wasn't any from @Dovefromabove. Maybe there was a misunderstanding. But PM's are another matter, can be very upsetting. I was very hurt by them once.

Sometimes what is typed can be meant by the author as one thing and interpreted by the reader as something totally different. I often have to read and re read messages to make sure that it will not be taken the wrong way.

I agree that it’s sometimes difficult to judge the tone in the written word but I would give the benefit of the doubt and assume no offence is intended unless it’s obviously offensive.
I would always be more careful with a new acquaintance or poster but I didn’t see any vitriol in the thread.

I was suprised it was @Dovefromabove as whenever I have posted, Dove has always been friendly and  and informative. When i first joined the forum she was very welcoming to me.

I didn’t think you would send nasty PM’s either @Dovefromabove by far one of the loveliest ladies i’ve ever met

Thank you @PurpleRose that’s kind of you. 😊

I’ve a feeling I’ve been set up. The poster refers to previous forum members who are friends of hers ... I’ve been around long enough to learn that it’s possible to make enemies simply by being pleasant and kind. Hey ho ...

    Thank you @LivMarie98 ... that’s very kind of you ... 😊

I’m sure I have my shortcomings but I don’t think rudeness or unkindness is one of them.
