  Really? My Exochorda × macrantha 'The Bride' flowers from mid-March till end of April. Here's a photo taken this morning illustrating its other name of "pearl bush"! A truly lovely bush.

  Hi. I’ve only just joined the Gaura seed discussion. If I sow the seeds now (April) will they flower this summer?

  Sowed my Gaura the bride on the 1st April, they are well up now. They won’t flower this year, They will be potted on a couple of times, planted out next Spring, then they’ll flower. 
  I sowed the last lot on the 1st August 17, they flowered last year.
