I’ve tried to get rid of some of it in the borders
Hey, I'm planting it, at least in some of the damp woody bits. And we put it in beds in our previous place (heavy clay) and it was fine - it does its thing and then dies down. Looking for 'Brazen Hussy' at the moment.
😀. Look no further then 😀
Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.
I too am actively trying to encourage celandine. It’s an isolated bank containing primroses, cow parsley, periwinkle, blackthorn, pyracanthus and a couple of dog roses.
I dig out the cuckoo pint and dandelions and try to remove the goose grass before it invades.
I quite like cuckoo pint! We had the spotted and non-spotted form in our previous garden. And I have some Arum italicum yet to plant.
I'm trying to get primroses, cyclamens and wood anemones going on a tree-shaded bank. I have the white wood anemone, but am going to get some of the yellow A. lipsiensis too.

I have Lamium galeobdolon in the damp shade. Nice for bees.
