    Hi all astrantia lovers! I planted 3 specimens of Astrantia major ‘Shaggy’ in mid-June last year. They developed reasonably well for their 1st year. The foliage disappeared completely in the winter, and now (18th March) nothing is showing at all. Do I need to be more patient? I hope they are not dead, as they were fairly pricey. :/

    One or two small leaves appearing here .... I've just cleared all of last year's dead stuff.

    In my experience astrantias are pretty bullet-proof @Papi Jo, I grow 4 different ones here but not shaggy.

    Mine are the same  green shoots just starting to appear  :)
