Jacqueline, first and foremost I do hope the test results were reassuring. Gardens are a wonderful and comforting sanctuary aren't they. Congratulations on the publication.
On the subject of weeds, what is regarded as a weed or prized plant is largely down to perception and our potential for entrenched prejudice. I see 'weeds' as survivors myself and a vital source of pollen/host plant for our challenged insect friends.
