  • The pics off the web, looking up close in the cropped version I guess it could be silver fern, and as wild edges says the blue has been turned up so a blue grass would look even more blue than it does here. Also the list of plants on their site I don’t think are in any particular order. I guess asking them can’t hurt!

    That looks like a rubus to me ... it’s got branching growth so not a grass.

    Yes, you're right.  It's Cambridge Botanic Gardens and Rubus biflorus.  I've admired it many times.

    It’s a plant that needs to be controlled. Coppice it hard in late winter each year to keep the beautiful coloured young stems. 

    Watch out as its a type of bramble and spreads by layering itself everywhere one of its arching stems touched the ground. 

    A beautiful plant but you have to ‘manage it firmly’ or it can be very invasive.
