I split the peace lily into 4 and gave 1 to my auntie....
....my aunties is the only one still alive. Mine became infested with fungus gnat larvae. I tried all the methods to get rid but nothing worked. So i threw them out.
I moved the mother jade plant upstairs to avoid that becoming infested too.
I think i over watered it. It's got a layer of gravel on the top to deter fungus gnat eggs so its hard to tell when it needs watering.
It gets less sunlight upstairs too and hadn't really grown since it went upstairs.
So, last week i had the brilliant idea of putting it outside to catch some sun and dry it out. It was outside for about 4-6 days.
When i moved it back inside, loads of leaves fell off (40+)
Its in the hall now and if you touch it gently more leaves fall off.
The leaves that fall are kind of purply brown and dappled on part of the leaf.
