Spider mites don't have segmented bodies like that. It's hard to tell much from the photo though I'm afraid. It looks like it has 8 legs and long antennaewhich is confusing.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.
Goodness knows what it is then ... the medium our houseplants grow in develop their own little ecosystems ... your plant looks healthy ... I wouldn’t worry about it 😊
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
There is lots of new growth on the plant and it does appear healthy from a distance but close up there's a lot of web-like strands and dust and always 1 or 2 dead leaves..
I think you're right though, i will take a step back and observe.
It is due for re-potting this year though as there isn'f much soil visable.
House plants accumulate dust the same as anything else in the house. An easy solution for most plants is to stand them in the shower and rinse them off with tepid water on a gentle spray. You can gently spray underneath the leaves as well. Leave to drip dry before putting back in its regular home.

Can anyone confirm that its a spider mite please?
They sell some spray in Morrisons that is supposed to kill red spider mites.
Clearly, this one isn't red. Would the Morrisons stuff work?

Looks a bit like some some sort of beetle to me , but can’t see very well as the pic is fuzzy.

The actual size is minute. You can't see them unless you are looking very closely and they move. Grain of salt type of size.
