Lots of digging in someones garden to get free sweet peas that come up every year -  this morning, lots soaking in water some planted in pots, then this late afternoon/ evening at community garden lots of clearing digging up grit/soil/stones and bagging and taking to allotment for pot holes in the roads

Yviestevie You can't go to a garden show and not buy plants - it would be rude to not buy anything
some really pretty garden watching gardeners world at the show,  if you took any picture it would be nice to see them

Hydrangeas Runaway Bride and blue Fireworks.  Also bought a Centaurea Joyce, Geum Eden Valley Angel and Tiarella Raspberry Sundae. Just finished planting them all up.

Our first day of what should be a good spell of sunny weather.  Gave visiting friends half a dozen small plants including 2 squash and Geum, sat in garden with another set of friends enjoying the bird antics and then made lunch for (we live in hope) future son-in-law.  So not much actual gardening done here, but plenty of garden talk and plans made.

Got lots done despite  being shattered.  Potted up 4 containers (still have loads of plants in the greenhouse). Planted out some Ammi, Cosmos and Flowering Carrot.  Tidied up the rubbish area and moved all spring bulb pots into there to allow them to die down. Planted all my treasures from Malvern and also had a delivery from Secret Garden Club so planted those too.  Not sure I'll walk tomorrow but very satisfied.

Just had time to pot up some more plants and sit for a bit admiring the garden, in a shady bit under the apple trees. Very peaceful and warm. Had to stop early to paint my nails in readiness for a wedding we're going to tonight.

Been in the garden since 6 am love it at that time quiet with just the bird singing but this morning around 37 30 am a air balloon was going over. Son rotavated the veg garden again yesterday after the heavy rail so this morning I have raked it over. Taken all the seed trays from the house into my little greenhouse and cold frame and moved some pots around. Now for breakfast.
