Lovely smell of rain on parched ground...   :)
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

We had a bit of rain, but not much at all.

We’ve had lots of rain, I’m so pleased as I’d planted stuff out yesterday and didn’t water it in, was relying on the rain, and it did.
Just sown the Ricinus seeds, let’s hope they all germinate.

You must have had our share of rain. NONE of my ricinus germinated. ( hint hint )
All the cerinthe are coming up a treat.

Let’s hope then,  I’ve got 15 seeds, courtesy of Guernsey Donkey,
my Cerinthe is in full flower in lovely large bushes.  Nice for early bees.

I've got one cerinthe just outside the polytunnel. No idea how it got there but it's in full flower too.

Lovely, they are far better if you let them self seed and just leave them.
probably out of a pot of something I gave you, there’s always something popping up somewhere here, I’ve got them nowhere near where I planted the other lot. Unless they survive in the compost and get spread in the  autumn.

I grew some from seed 2 years ago, but , to my shame, didn't get around to planting them in the garden. Must be a wee escapee from that batch somehow.
