Morning, I have to agree with you all. As a new gardener I watched GW last year and was a bit disappointed. Planting seeds in rows and cutting grass is all very well but how about Technics like how to take cuttings, what type of cuttings, when to take them. Monty Don has a very big garden and gardens to suit that but what about the small gardener, how about helping them to get the best from their gardens.
Has anyone tried googling when Gardeners World was due to start - absolutely impossible, whatever string of words you use it just points to Gardeners World Live!
Hi AnniD, yes Gardeners World confirm via email. I must admit they were very quick about 5 mins and they have sent the answer. The question was raised by dave125.
According to the GW magazine it is 8th March at 8.30pm.
For practical tips and seeing how to do things I much prefer The Beechgrove Garden @Dee73. It starts a bit later than GW as it's in Scotland. Gardeners World does show some lovely aspirational places in their garden visits, but not all of it would work in my tiny urban patch. Did you see any of the Big Dreams, Small Spaces series? Some of those were very good 😀.
To be honest I've learned more about gardening right here on this forum than I have from the TV shows. I hope you do too 🌻😊.
