I think somebody has seriously lost the plot at SGC. No excuse whatsoever for sending plants out like that. I've used them twice this summer, ten plants in all, and but for a bit of urgent TLC on the first order, they have been fine and healthy and are growing well. But if they continue to send out stuff like that, their reputation will be irreparably damaged.
They do seem to have become a victim of their own success. Even allowing for the fact that it's coming to the end of the season before autumn planting begins, there are some very sad looking plants in those photos.
I am really surprised how downhill SGC have become. I originally started this post to find out if their quality was good due to the low prices of the plants I started using them 12 months ago and their plants were excellent and their prices incredibly cheap.
It’s seems now they are been possibly effected by the impact of the virus as are plenty of plants suppliers Hopefully they sort their level of service and quality out and regain it back.
They need to understand that you are only as good as your last order but hopefully thing will improve
@Treeface I had no idea you could do that! I tried your code and that of @Tack but neither worked so must have been used (so I assumed) so lost out on that. Know what to do next time. Still waiting for one plant to arrive and ordered the Brunnera of which they now seem to have a good stock of. Thank you for that information. Maybe there are others who didn't know.
