Ever so slightly annoyed with them today. My order came through very quickly and plants in super condition, but saponaria missing. I contacted them to ask about it and got an immediate refund. A little later got an email to say that they were out of stock hence the refund. Replied to tell them no it was not out of stock, their website clearly states that there are 28 left and I'm not paying for p&p to order it again because of their error so why are they not able to send it. Answer? "Our website is updated regularly so it must have been out of stock when we sent the rest of your order and updated after the refund was processed." I ordered it 2 days ago. There were over 30 still in stock then. You did not blow through 30 saponaria pots in a day... I can't abide deceit.
Luckily I have saponaria seeds so will set about sowing them later. I was just hoping to reduce the amount of seed sowing to do this month. Ah well.
Nice plants, @Tack. Out of my recent order, one plant died (1/9), not too bad but the one I wanted the most (phyteuma scheuchzeri). Another order, the one I really wanted (1/5)(strawberry mint) was in poor shape but hopefully will be fine. And in my last order (two days ago), the plant I wanted the most was refunded (helianthemum golden queen). I seem to be unlucky. But I always get some good plants so it still feels like good value, even more with everyone else expensive and sold out.
