That last rose is lovely, Yvie. I think I've seen it at Wisley. I think it has a strange name?

The wild orchid photos a while back were beautiful.

All I have to offer today are these self sown poppies that are doing their thing. I would not have chosen that colour, but I'm very glad they did - it's perfect there :)

@LG_ I see what you mean about the poppy it works really well next to the Nepeta.  By the way the rose is For Your Eyes Only.

Ah yes - it is the one I've seen at Wisley. It has a strange alternative name: 'Cheweyesup'! (https://www.rhs.org.uk/Plants/332999/i-Rosa-i-FONT-FACE-Times-New-Roman-For-Your-Eyes-Only-FONT-Cheweyesup-(S)/Details).

It's actually Linaria purpurea rather than Nepeta - another thing that arrived by itself but that I now I rely on! There's loads of Verbena bonariensis in there too.

@WonkyWomble That penstemon has an interesting colour. Hope it's not been completely destroyed by the storm.

    Lovely pics.
Lupin envy here as my garden is not conducive 😔 I have battled to nurture and save my last Lupin, but this year it has not flowered so the slug-battered, aphid-attacked specimen will soon start its next life...as compost.
My garden and I live in South Wales.
